Last minute world ballet audition

July 7 and July 8, 2026

The Ballet Intensive Last Minute Audition combines auditions for multiple ballet companies in one location and at the same time. It is designed to simplify and expedite the job search process for dancers by offering direct access to multiple companies within a single audition. This unique format saves time, reduces travel, and creates effective professional connections, giving dancers a valuable opportunity to introduce themselves to company directors and artistic staff at the same time.

Portoroz-Portorose International ballet competition

July 13 to July 21, 2026

The Portorož-Portorose International Ballet Competition is a prestigious event celebrating young, pre-professional and professional ballet talent from around the world. Set in the inspiring coastal cultural hub of Portorož-Portorose, the competition brings together participants who demonstrate exceptional technical skill, artistry, and dedication to classical and contemporary ballet. Dancers have the opportunity to perform in front of an international panel of judges, receive professional feedback, and gain visibility within the global dance community. The competition fosters artistic growth, cross-cultural exchange, and meaningful connections between young artists, teachers, and ballet professionals. It complements the region’s vibrant summer ballet activities at the Avditorij Portorož, strengthening Portorož’s reputation as a dynamic center for dance education and performance.

International summer ballet camp DANCS 2026

July 27 to August 8, 2026

The DANCS International Summer Ballet Camp is a prestigious 14-day summer ballet seminar held in Portorož, Slovenia, for students of ballet schools, dance academies and professional ballet dancers. The program focuses on classical ballet technique, variations, pas de deux, contemporary dance approaches and artistic development under the guidance of experienced teachers, helping participants deepen their skills and expressive abilities. DANCS also emphasizes individual attention and artistic growth, making it suitable for dancers at various advanced levels who want to improve their skills during the summer. The camp includes daily classes, workshops and performance opportunities in one of the most prestigious summer destinations on the Adriatic Sea.

Additional professional training of young ballet dancers

July 13 and August 9, 2026

Do you want to spend a creative dance summer? Would you like to gain experience in studying ballet productions as they do in professional ballet companies? Do you dream of performing in ballet productions? For young ballet dancers in the final years of their training, as well as those at the beginning of their professional careers, Ballet intensive offer participation in the Additional Professional Training for Young Ballet Dancers entitled: “Introduction to Work in a Professional Ballet Company.”
The training is conducted under the guidance of renowned domestic and international ballet teachers. The purpose of the program is to provide valuable professional stage experience within the framework of rehearsals and performances of ballet productions. Participants will also have the opportunity to perform at two Dancs 2026 Ballet Evenings, where they will be able to present pas de deux, variations, contemporary pieces, or other choreographies of their choice. The program represents an excellent opportunity for developing artistic expression and for transitioning from a school environment into the professional ballet world.
